THE DAY JOB.
Since March 2025 I've been Tech Lead and People Lead at Reisbalans, looking after a team of seven and writing a lot of Ruby on Rails.
WHAT I'M DIGGING INTO.
Leading people, and the opportunities AI opens up for how we build software. Both are changing faster than the playbooks for them.
ON THE SIDE.
Two iOS apps, both on the App Store. PUNKT. Score keeps score for board and card games without pen and paper, and quietly tracks who in your group wins most often. Ter Plekke plans a holiday from the first idea to the last day, and keeps working once you're there and offline. I built both in Swift, because I love how iOS is put together and the principles the language rests on.
There's also a prediction algorithm I wrote for Scorito's cycling game, for the sole purpose of beating my friends at the Tour de France. Success varies.
WHAT I'M UP FOR.
Since March 2025, my working days belong to Reisbalans. I'm Tech Lead and People Lead there. Evenings still have room for something small. A focused build. A second opinion. A tricky piece of a bigger whole. And I'm always up for a coffee.
